Quick Facts about the Show
The NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) is one of the most important international automotive event. The 2005 edition attracted almost 800,000 visitors and 6,000 media operators.
The first edition is dated back to 1907, when it was called Detroit Auto Show, was sponsored by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and was held at a beer garden. The vehicles on display were 33 from 17 exhibitors.
In 1957 for the first time international auto manufacturers displayed their vehicles.
