The model front-engine layout is based on the VW Eos' platform. The main dimensions are a total length of 4,376 mm and a height of 1,268 mm. The package was redesigned in order to lower the driving position.
The exterior design is a reinterpretation of the iconic language of the VW Up, and is characterized by simple, horizontal lines. The front and rear opening grilles were used for the positioning of the lighting units.
As Daniel Dozza Gerzson explains, the goal was to design "shapes and lines so that the vehicle looks fast and balanced without losing strength and aggressiveness."
The concept car was created at Volkswagen Design Studio in Brazil and the final 1:4 scale clay model was presented at the event "Talento Volkswagen Design 2008" as Daniel's graduation project at the end of his internship.
