The upcoming model will besed on the recent Genesis' RWD architecture and will be characterized by increased dimensions (5,160mm long, 1,900mm wide and 1,495mm tall).

The range of engines will include a 3.8 liter V6 and a 4.6 liter V8 gasoline units. The current Equus model was originally launched in 1998 and hasn't undergone any restyling until today.
