20 June 2005 - Alias has just released the new version of Sketchbook Pro, the professional drawing software designed specifically for use with Tablet PC or digitized pen tablets.

Among the many new features, this new version enables to export the images to Photoshop without losing the layers information, one of the most needed feature in the previous version.

Further improvements include a floating toolbar to adjust the brush size in real-time, more brushes customization possibilities and the Lasso Selection Tool, while a Magic Wand Selection Tool is still missing.

The retail price is the same as Sketchbook Pro v.1.1 (179,00 USD), while the upgrade price is 79,00 USD.
