Hyperion is a one-off custom-built car created by Pininfarina Special Projects Division for collector Roland Hall. Derived from the Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe, it features elegant lines and proportions and technology derived from luxury boat building.

Unveiled at the London Motor Show, the Mastretta MXT is a Mexican lightweight two-seater sportscar powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, with aluminum chassis and fiber glass body .It will be launched in UK on May 2009 with a base price of £33,000.

Georgia-based company FortuneSport has released the first information about the Rt.S, a minimalistic and lightweight sportscar inspired by Group C prototypes and styled by Turkish designer Emre Husmen.

Debuting at the London Motor Show, the Lightning GT combines classic British sports car design with an all-electric powertrain featuring in-wheels motors and NanoSafe batteries which allow for a 10-minutes recharge time. First deliveries will begin in 2009.

Designed by Giugiaro and made in Hong Kong, MyCar is a two-seat all-electric city car with a range of around 40 miles in normal city driving. It will be sold by Nice Car Company in UK with a base price of £9,000.

Mitsubishi has revealed a preview sketch of the Racing Lancer, a diesel-powered crossover that will compete in the next 2009 Dakar Rally and will debut at the Paris Motor Show.

At the next London Motor Show automotive engineering company IFR Automotive will unveil the Aspid, a two-seater roadster with a lightweight aluminium-carbon fiber structure and a total mass of 700 kg which will be produced in limited series from 2009.

Pininfarina has announced that it will unveil a special one-off called Hyperion during Pebble Beach Concours, on August 2008. The car, commissioned by a private collector, is based on the Rolls Royce Drophead Coupé and inspired by pre war cars.

The Maserati Bellagio is a fastback one-off based on the Maserati Quattroporte. It was created by Touring Superleggera and has debuted at the 2008 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.

Aston Martin Racing has revealed the first official pictures of the Vantage GT2, which will make its race debut with James Watts Automotive in the Le Mans Series at Barcelona on 5 April 2008.
